After working on The Next 15, my boss, Andrew Hoagland called me up for Season 3 of an established “spin off” docu-soap of Love and Hip Hop: K.Michelle: My Life. This was the show I began to understand the framework of how to structure and work as a documentary TV editor. I cut the cold open (see link below) and finished an episode as a lead editor.
